Animal Planet

I cry when I see a deer or some kind of an animal in pain but...

I would enjoy going hunting for one.

Is that wrong?

As Grandpa Dunlap tells the story about going hunting when he was a kid and looking into those eyes as he shot the deer, and feeling so bad after he killed it, I think you would be crushed after you actually took it's life Becca. You haven't even gone out and shot a gun.

Deer are yummy. They're full of meat, and they go well with BBQ sauce.

I stand corrected. Grandma just informed me that Grandpa never killed a deer. When he was little Grandpa went hunting with his dad. He saw the deer, was about ready to pull the trigger........ looked into the eyes, but...... froze, just couldn't do it. So you see, even though you think you could, something inside of us sensitive creatures makes it impossible to do so.

There's a difference between animals in pain and animals you hunt.

cats and stray dogs should be left to die after being shot, whereas deer should be shot again if needed to end the pain.
